Selection Process

The Selection Process at ALLIANCE takes into account the following:
  1. A consistent and significant scholastic record. Based on the requirements of industry today, candidates who have a record of 60% and above throughout their studies (in particular, X, XII and graduation) are encouraged to apply. Students in their final year of graduation may also apply provided they meet the minimum scholastic record of 60% at the time of application.
  2. A high score in an All India Aptitude Test – CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA or a score of 550 and above in GMAT.
  3. Performance in the ALLIANCE

    BUSINESS SCHOOL

    Aptitude Test. The Test is designed on the pattern of GMAT and is of 45 minutes’ duration.
  4. Performance in an extempore presentation to be made by each candidate on a topic which would be given just prior to the presentation. This component tests the ability of a candidate to spontaneously conceptualize on a topic and to articulate the same for three minutes. The presentation is evaluated by two judges independently.
  5. Aptitude for pursuing a rigorous program based on a one-on-one interaction.
  6. Due weight will be given to candidates with relevant post-education work experience.

Scholarship
Scholarships amounting up to 25% of the prescribed fee would be available to qualified candidates subject to the following conditions:
  1. A consistent scholastic record - Minimum 70% in X, XII and Graduation - with no repetitions at any stage.
  2. A score of 90th percentile or better on CAT or a score of 650 and above in GMAT.
Note:  All documents including copies of transcripts (marks cards) of 10th, 12th and all the years / semesters during graduation, CAT/GMAT score card and work experience (if any) need to be produced for verification during the selection process.
Eligible candidates may submit the application for scholarship in the prescribed format along with the Application Form for admission.
