Bio-Data

Dr. Debashish Sengupta is a Ph.D. and specializes in Talent Management, Strategic Human resource Management and Training & Development. Dr. Sengupta has more than a decade of academic and corporate experience. Dr. Sengupta has authored two books titled 'You Can Beat Your Stress' and 'Floriculture Marketing in India', published by Excel Books, New Delhi. Dr. Sengupta is an avid researcher and has authored 53 research articles till now, published in various National and International publications. Dr. Sengupta occasionally writes columns for reputed business dailies like The Hindu 'Business Line' and for leading business magazines like 'Outlook Business'.

Dr. Sengupta has also presented several papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. Twice Dr. Sengupta has won the 'Best Paper Award' for his research paper presented in conferences. Dr. Sengupta won a national-level research award in the year 2007 for his contribution to the field of management research. Dr. Sengupta interviews have appeared in leading national dailies like 'The Hindu' (Online) and 'The Pioneer'.

Dr. Sengupta is a resource person in several MDPs and corporate training programs. Recently Dr. Sengupta conducted an MDP on ‘Talent Management across Business Cycles for Sustained Competitive Advantage’ for corporate executives of the rank of GM and DGM-HR from companies like Cadbury, Reliance Retail, Titan, Biocon, Millipore, Momentive, Avasarala Technologies etc. In the past, Dr. Sengupta has been invited as a trainer in many organizations like State Bank of India, Junior Leaders Academy (Indian Army), Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Indian Veterinary Research Institute and Bank of Baroda.
