Bio-Data

Dr. Madhumita did both her undergraduate degree in Economics (honours) and her Masters in Economics with specialization in Econometrics and Statistics from Jadavpur University, Calcutta. Dr. Madhumita received her Ph.D. in Economics under the UGC Fellowship, from Bangalore University, Bangalore.
Dr. Madhumita held various positions in her career including Sr. Lecturer, Manchester Metropolitan University, U.K., Head of the Department of Management Studies, Sir. M.V.I.T, Bangalore; Assistant Director (Academics), Ohio-Manipal School of Business, Bangalore; Dean and Centre Head, Rai Foundation, Bangalore and Professor, Department of Economics, Debub University, Ethiopia, under UNDP. Dr. Madhumita has held Visiting Faculty Positions at various colleges’ and universities.
Dr. Madhumita has taught a variety of courses, including Operations Research, Business Mathematics and Statistics, Econometrics and Mathematical Economics and Operations Management. Dr. Madhumita research focusing primarily on Applications of Operations Research and Econometric techniques to real life problems, and Development of Econometric model. Dr. Madhumita has to her credit many research papers and articles.
